JLE's Timeless Music of Great Composers Overview

When Dale Bruning and I, Jude Hibler, formed our Jazz Link Enterprises' partnership in 1996, we wanted to present something that would find us working together - imagine - a musician and a media person working together in harmony!

We came up with the idea of presenting concerts based on the music of the Great Songwriters of the world. Dale would use his marvelous skills as an arranger and come up with new charts on some of the great songs they wrote, while I would use my research and writing skills in putting a script together
about the Songwriters and the songs we would present during each concert.

We call these events JLE Timeless Music of Great Composer Concerts. During our presentations, I introduce the audience to the featured Songwriter, then Dale and his various ensembles play the first song; I talk again about the next song; Dale plays a song, and so forth.

Since we began this concept in 1996, we have presented concerts based on the music and lyrics of:

We have worked in a variety of venues and for a number of settings. We've worked in Performing Art Centers, Senior Centers, colleges, churches, and country clubs. We've done fund raisers for hospitals & we've even worked in a barn!

Since 2003, we have been presenting monthly concerts at Dazzle Restaurant in Denver. Click on our Events page for a list of upcoming activities.
